As Brainanator said, no need to discharge the packs for Lipo. As far as which one to trust, you are talking about 0.03 and 0.01 of a volt, which is around 0.7 and 0.2% difference between the charger...

Yeah, the difference is probably less than 0.5mm, but on closer inspection, the pitch is slightly different, so the end combination = bad.

Its funny, the DTX gear is 28t, and the rustler is 30t,...

This is the first time Ihave taken one apart, and all I did was plug the esc into the wrong slot. Ihad it plugged into the "batt" slot instead of into channel 2 on the reciever. I obviously didnt pay...

No, axles not spinning, the shaft attached to the spur gear is turning, but nothing inside the tranny does.

As Imentioned, there is a lot of play in the spur gear/idler shaft (at least 5 or 6 mm),...

Thanks guys, it was all to do with the position (chan 1/chan 2) on the RX. Iwont state here what Idid (look for my stupidity in the Evader thread), but it was pretty stupid!

Yep, after Imade the post, I looked around, and worked out it would be at a very low final drive ration, so had decided to go about a 20T pinion.

Yep, this is an EXT, as soon as Iget the car up...
