It came as all original, but i wasn't that keen on the mechanical speed control, kept it all so it'll go back if needs be.

Threw in a spare novak gtx speed control and a small lipo to get it...

impressive build, i think a massive thing to reduce drag would be dropping the body, which might require making some new shock towers, possibly cutting up some spare buggy ones... i did it a few...

Should be ok to run without, maybe chuck an o-ring on there to try and seal it up a bit better, i found with the few i owned the pullstart slipping because of oil was the biggest frustration.

it does increase rotating mass, but think of the mass of the tires compared to that...almost a negligable in comparison. and i think this is a great solution to a really common problem, great video!

yeah, stock they were fun trucks, but as you discovered the drive shafts are not up to the job when it comes to brushless. and upgrading them is going to be a real challenge as it wasn't around for...

i think the issue with this, and with most other 'scale' sections of rc, is that they dont have enough weight to pull off a scale appearnace/performance. it would have to weigh a fair bit more to act...
