RE: New Sebart Wind 50E

I had problems tightening the shaft on with Scorpion 4020 and Sebart Wind S 50. It is a different kind of shaft mounted on the motor shaft instead on the bell, like this:

RE: New Sebart Wind 50E

Hello guys,<div>I just wandered if anybody had experienced these "lift generators" on the landing gear digging into fuse? I heard from a friend it was observed after some time on his Miss Wind. I...

RE: New Sebart Wind 50E

Yes, I know what you mean. Although my experience is much much shorter (2 years now), I'm also probably not going to use these linkages. I have put everything together for testing and just to see if...

RE: New Sebart Wind 50E

Regarding aileron servos I was almost decided to get Futabas 9551s but then due to current lack of funding, I decided to try to fit DS821s I already had so that it not only works properly but also...

RE: New Sebart Wind 50E

Yes you are right! Sorry, didn't see that. It definitely is not a defect, it is due to the shape of the wing. Designer intended for a low profile servo, and I think if you are buying new servoes,...

RE: New Sebart Wind 50E

Well, you can't trim anything inside a wing, because on the shallower end it is pushing against the plank on the oposite side of the wing.

So, any servo which is around 30mm from the screw point...

RE: New Sebart Wind 50E

I just measured DS821 from under the screw points to the bottom of the servo, and it is 28.5mm.

Ialso measured the depth of the servo hole in the wing and near the aileron it is 23mm, the other...

RE: New Sebart Wind 50E

Hello,

I must admin I haven't tried any other standard servo except DS821, but that one does not seem like it could fit in Wind's wing properly.

Here is what I mean:

RE: New Sebart Wind 50E

I was planning to use DS821 for ailerons, but they are too high for the wing, they stick out too much. It really has to be a low profile servo. I will probably use DS821 for the rudder though, and...

RE: New Sebart Wind 50E

I'm looking for entry level aileron servo, and was looking at Hitec HS-77BB.

Does anybody have any experiences with it? Would it be a decent solution for starters?

Thanks!

Please add Serbia to countries

Hello,

Could you please add 'Serbia' in countries selection in user accounts?

Currently you have 'Yugoslavia' which doesn't really exist for several years now.

Thanks!

RE: New Sebart Wind 50E

Hello Hans,
Wow, at first I thought it was a standard upgrade of some kind! Great job!

Could you maybe post a rough sketch with dimensions of the T-can as you made it on your Wind?
