Yes air leak check first or could be blocked progression holes they are tiny and easily blocked.That will effect idle to the lean side.I've had this on brand new carbs.Have to disassemble...

To answer some of your questions. CG is now5" from LE wing have moved battery pack forward 3 " the muffler is abit heavier than my original also.
Elevator throws 18mm down and 22 mm up to...

Hi Ed,
Maiden flight done last Thursday went pretty well .C of G wasa little aft elevators were touchy and landing not so smooth but OK .Moved 2nd batt pack forward 3'flew todaymuch better.

Hi Ed,
I will get some photos soon for you.Engine is mounted 1/2" forward of firewall using original zenoah plate.Re drilled the mounting bolts & trimmed side so as to offset engine to the left 1/4...

I have a magneto G26 in my WM P 47 & the balance seems good with RX +batt (6v 2000ma)@ about the wing TE.Has plenty of power & flies very well.

Yes there is tons of room in the cowling .I have a Zenoah 260 (no pesky CDI units) in mine .With lightened piston it goes very well & has good balance CofG wise too Seems quite forgiving flying...
