As I understand he gear leg has air in it to expand it and no spring.. so the shrink bar pulls it in as the gear goes up and the air pushes it back down when lowered. To me this is just tweak crap...

NO!!! dont do it. locktite can seep down into the servo and cause issues. I put a small bit of silicon sealent on the threads..
