RE: 100cc Extra 300 ARF QB

Just give them a call and they will help you out. Don and his wife are probably 2 of the nicest, most helpful people in the hobby. Their number is 1-800-972-6273. Now, as for flying it that is up...

RE: 100cc Extra 300 ARF QB

I used Pre-Split Gear Cuff Combing that I ordered from Dons Hobby Shop in Salina, KS. It works really slick and you just CA it in place once you get it cut and where you want it. It really dresses...

RE: 100cc Extra 300 ARF QB

I thought I would post some pics of mine since it is pretty much ready to go. I came out right at 27.5 pounds and I got it to balance level with the rudder servo in the tail and batteries up beside...

RE: Battery Upgrade for Futaba 12FGA

Well, it gets low enough that the low voltage alarm starts beeping. So, it is in the 6.8V range. I was just looking to see if there was a higher mAh battery out there. More can't be a bad thing...

Battery Upgrade for Futaba 12FGA

I was wondering if anyone knew of a bigger mAh battery for the Futaba 12FGA to replace the stock pack with. The stock battery pack is 7.2V, 1700mAh but that seems to go pretty quick when you are...

RE: Yak 100 cc known issues

Well, original owner or not, they should still help you with any issues you are having. I mean if they had good customer support that is. It amazes me that since this is an Aero-Works Support...

RE: Yak 100 cc known issues

I guess I have a pretty dumb question to ask all you guys that have typed in on this thread. Have all of you or any of you called Aero-Works and told them about the issues you had with this landing...

RE: Yak 100 cc known issues

Well, I haven't looked at the wood in a few days, but another factor is that they weakened the actual gear itself as well. When you take a big section of aluminum out of the middle, it gives the...

RE: Yak 100 cc known issues

That doesn't sound like a design flaw, that sounds like there may be something else that happened. My tail seems to be holding pretty well and this is the first I have heard of someone loosing...

RE: Yak 100 cc known issues

Well, it just seems that when you spend over a $1000 on just the plane, I guess I have come to expect a certain level of quality as we probably all do. If I knew this many guys were having issues, I...

RE: Yak 100 cc known issues

Well, I must say that I was shocked how easy the landing gear plate can be damaged or torn out of this plane. I had what was not a hard landing (7th flight) and the left side of my gear block...

I was going to say try either a O.S 46FX, O.S 50SX or the Magnum 52 2 stroke.
