RE: Hangar 9 RV-8 .46 ARF

Ok, well I figured out the problem with the ailerons. Had to plug the right side into AILE and left into Aux1, set the wing to flaperon type, then set differential. Since I lost my extra flap...

RE: supervee 27 prop snap

Dan I tried your method again and it worked like a charm. The engine started so easily and we ran it for about half a tank.

When we brought it in and it looks like one of the blades snapped...

RE: supervee 27 prop snap

As I was removing the pull start I noticed it was completly soaked and dripping with fuel. Is this normal? If I take it off all together wouldn't that allow fuel to get everywhere?

RE: supervee 27 prop snap

Well the one way bearing doesn't really look worn at all, I'm guessing its just not gripping the output shaft. The boat is only about a month old with 1/2 a gallon put through it. If it is broken...

RE: supervee 27 prop snap

Well I guess we'll switch over to metal props once the second one goes. Would they run just as good w/o balancing and sharpening compared to a plastic prop?

We installed the new prop on and...
