Not too familiar with 1/8 cars, but it look to me that 1/8 cars use wheels with 12mm hole and a 17mm connector.

The wheels in this 1/8 F1 have 4mm hole and 12mm connector (exactly like the 1/10...

With the Kyosho HOR the steering servo will do two actions:
- Change the vertical position of the front wheel (the rotation is free)...

It look like that it is possible.

But you need to cut the thin plastic that keep the receiver sticked to the Gyro & Esc board.

Not 100% sure, but it could be that the quartz is soldered inside...
