Ok thanks for the input, the crank is good, i am going to pick up the new bearings this morning, they had them in stock in the local bearing supplier (INA HK0808).  $4.50 a piece not to bad compared...

Ok so I was curious so i pulled apart my engine to get a good look, i measured the crank pin and it is exactly at .3147" which is equal to 7.993 mm. and a 8mm bearing is .3149" so my crankpin seems...

My head has only one shim, but i run 96 octane fuel. 100 octane and 91 1/2 and 1/2, I run klotz R50 oil. and a 18X6 at just over 8000, i pulled the engine last night, the bearing is a HK0808 8X12X8...

I plugged in my igntion and there is a nice spark at the spark plug and a nice spark where the wire is broken, i can see that it has been sparking at the broken wire for awhile it is rounded off on...

I have had the same problem, i am using a 2.4 ghz radio. The engine is a evolution 26gt. the engine has done it since it was brand new. never could get it to go away, i noted when doing range checks...

What companies sell tuned pipes in the states? I'm working in the middle of the jungle in peru, our internet is very slow so it is hard to browse the web half of the time i cant get web pages to load.

I would be interested to see how much i could gain with a tuned pipe, some scavenging im sure would help out.  Do you have any experience with tuned pipes on a 26?

no tuner on it, i put a larger carb on it and attained a few hundred rpm's, lost small amount of throttle response off idle but in the air I do not notice at all.  I put a walbro WT series 450 on it.
