I have built and flown three of Evans designs over the years. Follow his instructions for the CG and you will be rewarded with a fun to fly airplane. He knows what his designs are all about.

For the Tiger 40, with one panel flat on the bench the raised panel should be 1 3/4" up from the bench, or if you like 7/8" each panel. This would be to the bottom of the tip rib at the spar...

I think that you will find what you are looking for in Model Airplane News March 1985. They did a Field and Bench review in that issue of the Ace R/C T-34 Mentor.

It looks a lot like a Robinhood 25 that has been bashed into a twin. A fellow club member had one with a Magnum 30 FS on it and it flew very well.

Hobby Hanger has a sport scale twin OV-10 Bronco for .25 size engines. If you extend the wings as shown on the plans, the wing loading comes down and it flys very well. Mine is being recovered this...

Why not run a 1/4 x 1/8 inch balsa strip from front to back in the middle of the cutout. That will give a solid base for the seam and will weigh next to nothing.

I agree with Major. I've run Supertigres for many years with Loctite Permatex High temp RTV Silicone Gasket Maker and I have yet to see one that has come loose . Do not use the supplied gasket.

Hobby Hanger has two WW1 Sport Scale kits for .40 to .60 four strokes that sell for under $100.00. They are an SE 5A and a Fokker D VII. They are builders kits, but they are great flyers.

The two 25 FX's will be more than ample. Mine flew just fine with 25 FX's. I flew it for two years before I sold it in a weak moment. I may have to build another one. It's a winner.

I suggest that you also check your engine thrust line. It's possible a few degrees of engine downthrust may help solve the problem.
