After 100+ flights and a number of mishaps previously described, the VMAR Mig-21 is still going strong. Another dead stick landing has this time wiped out the plastic rear fuselage servo hatch, but...

RE: Is it possible?

The Mig-21 is now repaired, but not ready for flight.

RE: Is it possible?

Using the JBA 1.20 and a 15x 8 prop, I have found that there is still plenty of clearance using the standard fixed gear nose leg. Its quite long.

RE: Is it possible?

I am curently using a JBA 1.20 in my VMAR Mig-21. Power from this engine is fine. I originally flew it with an ASP .91 but was'nt satisfied with the performance. I doubt that a .61 would have enough...

RE: Modeltech A7-Corsair .25size ??

I have recently bought this ARF of the Corsair 2. No real problems with assembly that I can think of. Much like any other ARF kit.

I have a .32 GMS 2000 glow engine installed in the model...

More pictures of the YAK 9 from other sources. Impressions so far. Excellent quality. No dramas at all in assembling the model so far. Wings look to be much the same shape and profile as the VQ...

VQ Yak 9

I've just bought a VQ YAK 9 . Great looking model out of the box. Like the hatch for the fuel tank and the panel detail on the covering.

I also have the Macchi 205. Flies great on an OS 46AX...

I understand that there may be kits available from Austars in April 2010. I've seen on some reviews that flying weight is 7.7kg, which means a...

RE: AK Models F-16 Kits now up for sale

Yes, I think the "Pilot- EZ" models F-16 from sometime ago looked much better than this one. The engine was mounted inside the fuse just behind the front wheel and had a prop shaft extension to the...

RE: CMP Kits – Problems and Solutions

Maybe a DA, 3W or similar 50cc would put too much stress on the airframe.? They are quite powerful motors. A larger motor, needing a larger prop,would...
