where do you guys put your battery? Instructions show it goes on top of the motor mount, but that seems kind of odd to me.

I got my yak the other day, ive been putting it together, but the instructions show nothing about installing the tail wheel. Can anyone post a picture or help me out with this.

battery balancing

So i have a 3cell 2100 lipo battery. What is the amp rate that it should be charged at, and the amp rate it should be balanced at?

Well, even with the worlds worst charger, it should not take nearly 3 hours to charge a 1300 3s, more like an 1 1/2 hour. I would keep an eye on the battery if it keeps going that long.

Im not sure how i will mount the motor, i havnt seen the firewall or anything. I went with the sentry ESC from turnigy becuase they had them in stock, and there really is no difference from that and...

Yea, what im going to do is make some vents so the pressure can escape, and maybe put some stronger magnets on the canopy. But i dont plan on doing any full power fly bys, but more of 3d flying.

yea i read it more, and from my understanding there isnt much of a difference other than the battery balancing connecter. The sentry and plush are just about the same price. My opinion the balancing...

instead of waiting forever for the turnigy plush 60amp ESC from hobbyking to be stocked, they have a turnigy plush 80amp for like $5 more and it is in stock!...

550 watts is kind of overkill for this yak. You only need atleast 400 for a powerful setup.

yea i read some reviews on that MX2 from bananahobby, and that plane seems like crap. I think im going to stick with that motor we talked about above, i want to have alot of power. Thx for the tips.

Seems like you might have more experiance needed for those trainer planes. Go get a nice smooth sport flyer like a pulse or a takari.
