Why don't you water proof them?

If you want a youtube link on how to do this I'll post it, you can make your servo's 100% water proof Imean sink them under water and make them turn..

twitching indicates
1 bad signal
2 low batteries
3 inteference
4 bad servo

If the servo got wet or even condensation it will start to twitch and die.
You could also plug that servo where...

Also you can take some of the weight from your boat that is at the back and relocate some of it towards the front ect. batt, I know other also add small weights to the front of the boat.

Well mine was 1 copper and 2 aluminum..I used a digital clamp and the copper was thinner and the 2 aluminum was same size..

That is what Idid also, wasn't pretty but it work...Now there was 2 choice in j.b weld one that cure in like mins and the other in hours..Igot the one that cures in hours...if Iremember right it will...

I know some of these liquid gasket can hold up to 600F.maybe even more...not sure how hot that area gets though...

but ya if you can go to shop and buy that stuff and cut to size I just might look...

its a gasket and it seals that area...

I would get a new one for sure..

now maybe other can tell you if you can use something like liquid gasket...
