The RSS feed doesn't including anything about the replies on a particular topic, it only contains a link to the topic thread... the XML is very simple for RSS feeds... i.e. the name Really Simply...

Marc, did you create an RSS XML feed for the classified section of RCU? I could make use of this on our club website along with the regular form RSS feeds that we are using now....

You might find it interesting that I decided to make the RSS requests from the server side. Our webserver requests the RSS feeds from the RCU site every 10 minutes and caches the xml...

The weather station at our flying field has been a fun project. That is actual data from our field that you are seeing. The data is transmitted via wireless every 5 mintues from our weather station...

Another option that would be very helpful would be to limt the number of items/posts returned. What do you think about adding a 'maxitems' option? i.e. maxitems=5 would only return the 5 latest...

Personal preference and recommendations from the manufacturers more than anything else... 50:1 was not too lean and not too rich, so that's what I'm running. I know Dick has had good luck at 32:1...
