RE: Futaba 12 FG Dummies Guide

So they give us a great product with tons of great features, but no education on how to use them. Where's the logic in that? How about just a FEW basic examples? Please just give us something so we...

RE: Futaba 12 FG Dummies Guide

No easy task, true. But neither is trying to program this Tx without any decent guide! I don't think we would need all those examples. Just a select few that would cover the general spectrum, and...

RE: Futaba 12 FG Dummies Guide

Love my 8FG, but I too have been extremely frustrated trying to program it for use with a DLG glider. Set up as a model type "GLIDER" with 2-aileron wing and normal tail, I needed "flaperons"...

Worn out GameCommander controller

I have been using Aerofly Pro Deluxe (and add-on 1) for some time now and love it! But my GameCommander USB controller is just about worn out. The elevator/aileron gimble is getting really bad. It no...

RE: E-flite Taylorcraft

Cool, floats on the snow. What floats are those? Do they work well on snow? How does the T-Craft perform with them?

RE: Good aerobatic high wing 1/4 scale arf?

There is only one plane for you. It is definitely the Dynaflite Piece O' Cake MK2 with a souped up .049 engine. Should be able to fly your friend's H9 T-Craft into the ground! I highly recommend it....

D & R P-51 Mustang info needed

I recently obtained a D & R P-51 Mustang kit. It is balsa over foam construction, 75" wing span, 9 - 11 lbs., and uses a 1.20 4-stroke engine or large glow. This kit was reviewed in the February 1990...

Northwest Hobby Technologies Corsair Engine Selection

Don Hopper's P-51D that NWHT shows on their website has either a G-45 or a G-62 in it (both are pretty much the same dimensions). As you can see, they had to make some substantial cutouts for the...

Feeding big tigres

If your local shop has fuel with 10% nitro and 18% - 20% oil, just buy a gallon of that and then mix it with a gallon of methanol. Bingo! You have 5% nitro and 10% oil fuel. This also cuts your fuel...

Northwest Hobby Technologies Corsair Engine Selection

Went through my P-51D kit today (still waiting for my Corsair). Very well packed. Inventoried all the parts. They do look great. Missing a few small wood pieces though, according to the parts list....

Northwest Hobby Technologies Corsair Engine Selection

I finally got my NWHT P-51D today, and have two possible engines for it. A Cheetah 42DX and a SuperTigre 3250. Cheetah takes the basic US41 engine and upgrades it by adding things like a better...

Beedub,
I know at least the P-51 and Corsair have long waits. Which kit did they say they have in stock?

Northwest Hobby Technologies Corsair Engine Selection

It is a great deal. But you will have to be willing to wait, and wait, and wait for a kit though. I ordered two kits at the tail end of the last sale (almost 6 weeks ago now) and am still waiting for...

US 41 cc..... ever use it?

I've never owned one, but I saw a Top Flite giant P-51 fly a few weeks ago with a US-41 in it. This was at a field elevation of about 3000'. The plane had retracts and was fully decked out (not...

mvvs 2.15 gas for a good price

Anybody have any experience with the MVVS 2.15? It looks great to me, but haven't heard of many end users.

I heard prop turning capability is very similary to a Zenoah G-38, and doesn't weigh...
