RE: OFFICIAL Detta ST THREAD **********

The only option CVDs that I have seen that are worth the time are to get the Duratrax ones. There are some others out there, made of alloy and cheap, but they don't last much better than the stock...

RE: hpi 2.4 Gz

Whether it is 2.4gHz makes no difference, but having an antenna wire coiled up usually affects range at the very least and at worst it could affect its ability to remain on channel. Allowing it to...

RE: Losi 1/10 Sliter engine problem

Could be the motor burnt up, could be the brushes need replaced, could be the ESC went bad.
But without more checking of the individual componentsinstead ofjust looking at it, it's hard to say.

RE: Losi 1/18 mini desert buggy

Racing has nothing to do with it.
Otherwise even ordinary kids wouldn't notice the difference when putting oil shocks on micro-ts, and there would be no need for shocks on street cars and just race...

RE: Tamiya f350 help?? axles+water=grease?

I would suggest you return to wherever you "heard" that and find the specific reference.

RE: Redcat racing mini sumo's?

For 60-bucks I don't know what you expected, it's a toy-grade rc, and buying online from HongKong that's the risk you got yourself into. It's not Redcat's fault you live in the U.S. If you want cheap...

RE: Sumo/Redcat 1/24 fun NOT

Not sure what anyone is expecting in an rc car for 60-bucks, but these surely can't be quality or hobbygrade for that money. "You get what you pay for."

RE: Losi 1/18 mini desert buggy

All suspension theories have been proven many times over by racers to be applicable regardless the scale.

If things didn't "work" as you suggested, there would be no need for oil shocks on a...

RE: Anorher new pickup

I know exactly what it is and exactly what you are running it in, and it has been well documented that the small 20mm BL motors do not have the guts to be able to power the heavier vendetta platform....

RE: Would anyone hire an r/c car?

Precisely.
Slot car tracks have rental cars, but they are heavy and slow and compared to anything else they are all but useless. The only thing they don't do is break. People rent them, maybe, one...

RE: Rubber cement for liquid mask?

I did help, gave my opinion as I saw it.
It wasn't like I called him aidiot for asking, and it wasn't like I dared call someone a dick which is something only dicks do.

RE: Help with batteries for Traxxas Emaxx

I know you're new and all, but the reality is that many guys can go through a gallon of fuel in a weekend or two quite easily. Batteries can last indefinately if they're quality packs and you take...

RE: Help with batteries for Traxxas Emaxx

I have never understood the attraction of nitro rc cars, the smell is awfull and takes repeated washings to thoroughly get out of your clothes. They sound like bumblebees or weedeaters, don't know...

RE: Would anyone hire an r/c car?

Perhaps you shouldn't be so defensive since "car washing" is part of your, woo-hoo, "13-step" process.
Overstating what you do for a living is like a garbage man calling himself a sanitation...
