RE: Ever lost the nose gear wile landing.

Had the nosegear turn sideways on my LT40 (strut turned in holder). Learned to mill a flat spot on the strut for screw. No damage to plane.

Due east/west flightlines may not be as big a problem as it seems. The sun is always south of east/west here in the Northern Hemisphere; more so in winter than in summer. My suggestion is to go out...

Had some artillery shells for a holiday. One of the 4 of us decides to light the fuse...THEN!! drop it in the 'mortar'. The fuse gets to his fingers, burns them real good. He drops the artillery...

Color Scheme editing software

MGI PhotoSuite will do tga files. Came with my Lexmark printer. ArcSoft Photo Impressions 3.0 works as well. Came with my Vivitar digital camera. Do a net search; should be plenty out there.

GS45 specs

Bill,
What size the carb retainer nut on the GS45? Lost mine today in flight. Made life interesting tooling around at about half throttle because the carb turned instead of closing.

Corrugated plastic. I offer to help take down political signs after elections - it's free. Or, you can look in the Yellow Pages for sign makers and spring $8 or so for a 4 X 8 sheet.

Fast, if you spend the $150 for a 4 channel setup, and do decide you don't like it, you can always sell the stuff; maybe not at the investment price, but you wouldn't lose much. I STRONGLY!!!!!!!!...

Strong odor from epoxy?

Different brands have different strengths of odors. If you're sensitive, experiment around. Some are a LOT!!! less smelly than others.

Maybe carve a block of wood (harder than balsa) to the shape of the old windshield, then use a heat gun and some plastic to make a new one from the wood mold.
