Be carefull with that set screw in the main gear. I have damaged my by over tightening it.

If the rotor head is spinning while you hold the main gear. The small pin on the rotor head may be missing. This pin goes through the rotor head and shaft.

Pat,
I use the superskids and no longer use that adapter so if you want them i can send them to you no charge. Also I made these blue plastic washers that I use with the HBFP blades on my falcon....

I was flying fine yesterday. Then all of a sudden this tree snatched my falcon by the tail.(see the picture). Later I got carried away and was flying almost over the house ( not a smart thing to do)...

I had heard of that mod when I first got falcon but never did it.I was worried at the time that being new and crashing a lot adjoining part like rotor head ring and rotor head would break more...

When the stock skidsbrokeI'd fix them with sewing thread and crasy glue. That made them MUCH stronger. Just a thought.</p>

Ijust twist the pinin with small pliers starting as close to the rotor head and keep working it in that way.
The needle idea is excellent. I'll have to give that a go.

If you do get this direct drive tail make sure you get a heat sink for the motor. This thing gets hot.
