Are all the mfg's raising their prices? How much copper is in Lipo's anyway? Fuel costs have also come back down to where they where a year ago.

The decision to go with lipos or a123's depending on who you ask is debatable. Personally I'm still undecided.

Anyway, I've been shopping around for LIPO's and this morning a MaxAmp 6s 5000HV...

I don't know whos BOT you have but, the Skybench Aerotech Big Bird BOT does not call for any wash-out. It uses the Selig 3014 airfoil and doesn't have tip stall tendencies.
