Nice cockpit photo's. I used a flight manual with a bunch of pics in it. There are several variations in the different model cockpits but I doubt most people would even notice or care.

The first photo shows the FLE installed before sanding it to match the rib contour. If it's not sanded to the contour it's useless.

Here's a couple photo's of what I've done in the past, this just happens to be on my P-47 project. The FLE is added and sanded to contour with the ribs on the top and bottom before the LE is glued...

Actually I'm nearly done with the build itself. I did beef up the LG mounts. I'm running a G-62 for power. I just didn't know about the robarts problem. I'd be interested in seeing what your mods...
