Yes they are both Syma Helicoptors.

The S006G with the Gyro flies pretty well, but it is hard to maintain aconsistentaltitude. It tends to sink in turns requiring more throttle when turning.

For what it is worth it is't the battery.

I switched the batteries between the two and the old one flies for 7 to 8 minutes and the new one flies for 2 minutes.
Just as it did before I switched...

I did a littleresearchand it sounds like no matter how good the heli may be that Hobbytron is not a place you would want to order anything from. Very bad reviews online.

Hi

It's funny that the Venom has the throttle on the right side, my S006 has it on the left side and it is the same transmitter.
In fact the helicopters are almost identical from what I can see...
