RE: rc guys decathlon

I mixed rudder and aileron in regular flying mode but didn't add it to the stunt mode. I found this plane likes to yaw a lot while turning. Mixing helped.

RE: DLE-30 - Post your prop data here

Ok that was just plane stupid. When breaking in your DLE 30 don't use a such a large prop like the 20x6 MAS that I did.
Use a wood prop like a 18x6 or so.
I think I overloaded the motor on break in...

RE: RC Guys Super Decathlon coming

I mounted mine using 7 cowl screws and it works great! 4 screws were used for the sides of the windshield (2 each side). I put one in the bottom corner and one below the wing, inline with the top of...

RE: rc guys decathlon

This plane floats along like a piper cub and lands very slow with the DLE 30. If I open the throttle it turns into a new plane! It does all the scale aerobatics the full scale does but better. Not so...

RE: DLE-30 - Post your prop data here

I'm at 8300rpm now. 1/3 gallon of fuel threw it now.

It's getting to dark and cold so I stopped for today.

Note that the slowly declining temperature this evening may have increased the rpm's...

RE: CESSNA 185 35% TMMY COMPOSITE

Wow. Finally a Cessna 185!
The 185 has always been a plane for the model world. It's a tail dragger and it will be more successful than the 182 in my opinion.

RE: Hangar 9 Sundowner Formula 1 Problem

I had the same problem. I found that using max rate for ground handling and giving quick shots of throttle worked better. I also moved the fuel tank way back so the rear of the tank was next to the...
