lipoly setup for e-starter (did I get it right??)

I've been seeing that a 4-channel micro rx only has 4 sets of inputs where a regular 4 channel has 5 sets(4 channels + battery.) The only thing I can think is that with the micro rx the battery pack...

Actually I just won an auction for a 1200 mah li-ion battery for $15 including shipping :D And I double checked you can use a li-ion charger on li-poly batteries. I guess the only difference...

Can I use regular AA batteries instead of nicad flight pack??
