go and look in the pylon forums. also, check any major hobby websites, they should stock a couple different versions. if u really wanna go fast though, go with a diamond dust or whip.

look at some of the old estes models. what they did is had a one piece wing with a pivot in the center, and slid out horizontally. i would say this is your best chance. one more thing. if u are using...

cool. thanks, i think i will go ahead and get the fai, just because i dont want to have to mess with trimming the pipe. as i am typing this, the ca on my rear spar is drying. :) let the fun begin!

also, if i trimmed to the ailerons, i would still leave the tips on, so it wouldn't really be all the way to the ailerons. do you still think i will have problems with flutter? thanks

the plane was originally pretty nose heavy, even with the 40 i had. the model is a scat cat, and i saw somewhere on here that u should trim it 3/4 of an inch strait outta the box anyways, so i guess...

you buy the biggest stickers you can find for that totally busted up old plane that is so soaked in diesel that you cant monocoat it anymore. :)

hey guys, i have a q500 that i am looking to modify for speed. i dont plan on running in any events, so i am not worried about being within spec. i have already trimmed the nose about an inch or so...
