Hi,
I am running 1.1 metre boat with 1500 KV Leopard and 180amp ESC and 2 x 6S 5000 Mah in Parellel. Athough the motor, esc etc dont seem to get to hot I keep melting the solder in one of the cables...

Yes that's the one. I have got 46 mph out of it according to my gps although this has dropped to 39 at the moment. I would like to get to 50 mph as my neighbours Nitro is doing late 40s. Any ideas?

As I am running two of these batteries in series does that mean everything is doubled? So am I risking blowimNg my esc as surely I must be 5000 x 30c = 150 amps x two = 300...

I have screamers on the batteriesso dont run them below 3v per cell. However, they dont last very long andtake about 85 minutes to recharge at 4.0a

I am looking at the pros and cons of the 2 x 3S...
