Peter,

Just take your time and dive in. Be sure to dismantle in very good light and have a safe place to put the little peices. A magnet is a good thing to have handy to keep the screws together...

Thats what I was afraid of. I went ahead and ordered new servos from WOW Hobbies. All the small servos I found online looked like they mounted differently. My next heli will be a 450 clone. I think...

Big crash today...I'm going to need some parts.

Question: Are the cyclic servos on this bird proprietory or can I buy others? What size are they? What do you recommend? I can buy them as a pair...

The mods I mentioned above are working very well. I also put a bit of grease on all the gears. I've put 10-12 batts on it since then with no problems. Give it a go-Jeff

I do not have the Creata 400 but I think I know what's up. My Walkera 180Z has a gyro and I believe yours does too. This causes the tail to stay as you directed it until you center it....

OK.... don't laugh. I used Triple Antibiotic Cream!! It has a Petrolatum base. I think it's the same as Vaseline but clear. I'm sure the antibiotic has curative effects for helis...

I have stripped no gears or broken the tail shaft since making the mods I suggested. I greased the gears when rebuilding. I have crashed several times since then, once destroying the canopy, ripping...

My gear fix seems to work fine, however I got a bit cocky and crashed in the house. Unfortunately I didn't get off the throttle fast enough and stripped the main gear. Parts are on the way.

Read my info on the 180z thread above. Ibelieve the gears are the same and an easy fix.

As far as the left drift, I was going through the same think a week ago with my 180z. I'm told they all do...

I ended up cutting a 2-3mm collar or bushing from a stripped gear, installing it on the forward end of the tail shaft, and then the gear itself. I have flown several times since including some wrecks...
