Lynx - 30 and 26 ga. wire is way too big for actuator coils. 39 ga. is about the biggest that is practical. 40-42 ga. is more common. You'd need about 60 feet of 39ga wire to make a 50 ohm coil,...

Yes, a standard H-bridge is fine. Apply + to one lead and - to another, and the actuator deflects one direction. Reverse polarity, it deflects the other direction. Just like a motor. Best to use...
