If it is available you might want to try Byron Fuels, as they will help keep your motor clean, have all the lubricant you need and do their own blending. The Race series seems to work in everything...

Personally, I would go with HPI or Associated TC3, why? parts availability, almost every decent shop will stock parts for both of these. Tamiya makes a great product but parts are a beatch to find.

Yes, the diff has a grub screw that locks the diff screw after you have made the adjustments. If you have the diff at the right point make sure the grub screw(opposite side) makes contact and "locks"...
