Are you sure your shift servo/linkage are moving all the way? If it is not fully extending the shift arm then you can get stuck between gears, but unfortunately running like this can cause damage. ...

You can get 50 replies and 50 different answers. I have personally had literally almost every MT out there, T-Maxx's, Revos (nitro and electric), Savages (nitro and electric and every variation of),...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

Just drill and tap the hole all the way through on the arm or if it doesn't go through (it looks like it may stay in the meat of the arm by your picture) just drill and tap it further in.

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

Do you have any certain parts in mind? The answer is that yes, I am actually pretty certain that 100% of the parts will work. Some parts are different, but they are all interchangeable.

RE: The Official Thunder Tiger MT4 G3 thread

So I've been into RC for like 20 years, have owned Revos, Savages and countless other trucks, helis etc. and I just really found out about the MT4 a little while ago and I'm dying for it to come back...

RE: 93.1 mph jato part 2

Haven't been on the forums for a while but glad to see there is still interest in the high speed Jato's.  I had a few projects: 3.3, Axial .28, Losi 3.4, Brushless etc.  No Jato's now but this makes...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

RE: Three engines, two trucks...opinions please!

Yup, I actually even shaved a hair off the bottom of the piston for extra clearance. I liked that motor so much if I bought another Traxxas product I'd sell the 3.3 brand new and swap in the Losi. I...

RE: Three engines, two trucks...opinions please!

I had a Losi 3.4 in a Jato and I absolutely loved it.  I used the stock TRX backplate with a little grinding to clear the piston and it fir great with the EZ-start.  The engine made great power,...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

Thanks for the update and glad you were able to get it worked out! I had swapped out on OS carb onto one of my old Traxxas 3.3 engines a long time ago and it made a night and day difference in how...

RE: New Jato 3.3

If you want more traction you can get a flat battery pack and put it in the middle of the car and you can play with the rear spring pre-load. Don't worry, once you get it broken in and tuned in you...

I had a problem with my XS similar to this that drove me NUTS for a while.  Under throttle I could hear a clicking noise and I could tell that the rear wheels were not turning.  If I held it on the...

RE: Show off your ST thread.

Nice GT Yakfish, any speed run data on it?  How controllable is it?
So even though I'm out of nitro now, I have to ask, where are you posting it for sale?

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

It'll work, you can pretty much easily fit any 1/10 scale brushless setup on these, it's just a matter of coming up with your own motor mount and setup for the rest of the truck. You can mount the...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

If you are starting with an SS then it is basically a drop in, the stock exhaust andclutch setup will work. Are you going with a pull start or bump start motor, and will it be rotary or slide carb?...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

RE: OFFICIAL TRAXXAS SLAYER OWNERS THREAD

Don't know the specific numbers (most numbers you find aren't really accurate anyways), but the 3.3 is a better motor than a lot of people give it credit for. That being said, a TZ will kill a 3.3...
