RE: The Next Step

$118 for an MCPX? That's insanely cheap, they sell used for more than that on Ebay. [X(]

I have to ask, is Ampdraw a legit website?

RE: The Next Step

Something to consider once you get your DX6I radios is that you can buy bind and fly Blade 400 for pretty good deals right now. They are going for like $150 on Ebay with batteries which is cheap...

RE: Flew the MSR in a Breeze Today

Off of that thread I linked to in your thread, I have those values in my radio and the swash on the long balls. I have expo at -75 also

RE: The Next Step

UHHH, sorry, but having fun is far from a waste of time. And one would have a heck of a hard time not having fun flying an MSRor a 120SR. And your statement about the CPbeing much more touchy is only...

RE: The Next Step

Have fun, don't let it stress you out, it doesn't always have to be about the next score, enjoy the ride.

RE: The Next Step

A good next step from a coaxial would be a 120SR. Used is ok as long as it is in great shape and not beat up. Usually get extra batteries that way too.

Flew the MSR in a Breeze Today

She did really really well. I was of course running full cyclic throws through radio and swash plate settings. Also had expo at -75 so she is very nimble with those settings to say the least. One of...

RE: Mcpx what has failed you?

I've been watching Justin's videos for a few years now and the young man never ceases to amaze me. His father has done an incredible job with his teaching, impressive story all the way around.

RE: Best Heli Upgrade Model?

Ibeg to differ about the MSRnot being suitable for outdoor use, Iwas just flying nice fast forward flight today outside with mine. Very light breeze that could be seen and felt but very fun...

RE: Dumped mSR into a full sink... Opps!

Put the whole heli in a bag of uncooked rice for 24 hours. It's your best bet to draw all the moisture out. I suggest you don't try to use it again until you try this.

RE: Mcpx what has failed you?

Are you certain the servos weren't actually damaged in the crashes? Just wondering how you know for sure the servos failed?  If you are using a DX6I have you checked the potentiometers or seen if it...

RE: Blade 400 getting a little wobbly toward end of pack

I set up the tail mechanically and bumped the HH rate up to 78% and with 2 clicks of right rudder trim the bird holds it's tail pretty well at this point. I has a SLIGHT wag back and forth when I go...

RE: Question on Lift off of 120SR

Throttle up nice and slow and the tail won't kick out on you that bad, if you throttle up hard it will blow the tail out, so just go nice and easy. Once it gets light on the skids add in some right...

RE: DX6i version of the Blade 450 RTF

Nice buy!!!

You don't need the satellite recievers with the Spektrum brand on helicopters, the Blade 400 comes with the SPektrum 6000 reciever with no satellite, it's considered a "park...

RE: Blade 400 getting a little wobbly toward end of pack

That makes perfect sense when you put in those terms. In other words, the pitch is creating the lift more so than the head speed, therefore the tail blades are spinning at a rate that would in usual...

RE: Blade 400 getting a little wobbly toward end of pack

OK, just hovered with those settings in the semi-dark. [:-]

The ESC didn't get as hot and didn't thermally shut down either but the wobble was getting pretty bad. (that's why this thread was...

RE: DX6i version of the Blade 450 RTF

I can only speak for the Blade 400 as that is what I have but yes, it's absolutely the full-blown DX6I, Horizon wouldn't put a knock off in the box me don't thinks. :D

Yes it will bind to all the...

RE: Blade 400 getting a little wobbly toward end of pack

Well, apparently the ESC is getting hot from hovering with the wooden dowel training gear on, so it's actually reaching thermal cutoff as opposed to low voltage cutoff.

This guy has a fix, mount...

RE: Blade 400 getting a little wobbly toward end of pack

Yah, the thing is, I only put back between 500-600 mahs back into each battery. I have a Sigma Pro charger that balances the cells as well. The batteries were at 11.5 volts when put on the charger,...

RE: Blade 400 getting a little wobbly toward end of pack

Well, got to hover with the new packs and I'm a little disappointed I'm only getting about 5 minutes before hitting the LVC. I am running long wooden dowels with practice golf balls epoxied to the...

RE: Are most of u e-flite blade owner self taught?

120SR is sick, I want one!

The next logical step would be the MCPX if you just HAVE to fly inverted. :D
