Well I guess it's hard to tell the G-series PCM9 from the pre-G-Series PCM9. Sounds like you have the G-Series, I have the pre-G.

Put it this way - a good test would be - does the 627x work, or...

My understanding is - some PCM9's are G Series and some are not, and it's hard to tell them apart. Mine is a pre-G and therefore won't work with the 627x... yours must be a G-Series. It probably...

I am using a 7UAP to control a tank. I found a similar problem when I switched from a 4-channel non-computer FM radio to the 7UAP - here is how I fixed the problem.
