We are using low voltage DC and frequency is not a factor. I say they sould be as short as possible. The manufacturer probably says not to, to cover himself against people goofing up.

We have Matt who says the MKII will not charge Lipos and Sharker who says it will. This is quite confusing.

He said he was charging at 1/10 of an amp and he considered 11,16 volts a full charge. It should be charged at 1.2 amps. to 12.6 volts which is considered a full charge for a 3 cell Lipo.

The single or dual cnversion is not a factor of the transmitter. It is a factor of the Rx only. As long as the Tx and Rx are on the same channel it will work. No need to be changing...

The main reason for breaking in a brushed motor is to get the contact face of the brushes to conform to the curvature of the armature. There are some variables which will affect the break-in time....

Dropping resistor

By putting the resistor in series you will drop the voltage also. Part of the total output voltage will be across the resistor and the rest across the battery.

I think you want to leave the voltage stay since it is for a 4.8 volt pack already. You want to lower the current which means the resistor wants to be in parallel. That way the voltage remains the...

Hobby Lobby has planes with 22" and 25" wing spans. You might go to their website and see what kind of motors and batteries they reccomend.
