Sorry to hear that. I've had nothing but good experience with the three sets of HPI esc and motors (27T).


I hear ya. But they do seem to be smaller.

Wow! Anyone know the best way to remove the small C clip the holds the shaft and beveled gear in the diff?

Finally won a Wheely King on ebay that needs some TLC. Have some projects ahead of it but an excited about the possibilities.

How funny! I was actually looking to buy that buggy (or a clone of it) not too long ago. I think it's one of the best looking buggies around.

Well I did have it higher, but wanted to get it lower. In my prelimary testing it seems ok. A heavy bashing session and we'll see. :D.

Yeah I'm a fan too. This is really a nice body. My next one will be the GTO body which is part of the series from HPI for Savage.

Thanks. I took a few tries with the aluminum and I had actually given up on this current one to the point it was in the garbage.
Thank God I decided to give one more try. Love the Parma decal...

Had to make aluminum brackets in conjunction with Wheely King body extender body posts kit. Works great and is adjustable. Lotta work.

Still need to add a rear bumper and gonna cover the opening between the chassis and the body on the sides a la Dragoni. And also add LED lighting.
Replaced the BL with a standard HPI EN-1 and 27T....

Yes, I agree. that's what's I'm running as well. Tried the 67T spur with both the 16T and 17T pinion but hard a hard time messing those. Might need to go to a19T or 20T with the 67T spur. The 70T...

Are you using the 70 spur with the 17T pinion? Yeah I've read the robinson gear are really good. I'm still using stock.
