The ESC has a thin coating of something for water RESISTANT It should be okay as long as you dont submerge it. I would call castle and ask, easily one of the best CS out there.

Well, geared 23/86 the motor is about 115 and the ESC about 150, you can get here for $99 shipped

I have it geared 23/86 on 2S lipo but I have regular SCT beadlocs and rims but you should be fine geared 23/86. Top speed is 38mph.

It says it on the side of the psu. It should be around 20A. So youll be fine mine is 17A.

Yup. thats what I have. The B6 just has nicer buttons and sparkfun has good service.

Well then this is the hobbyking B6 but it is from an awsome american vendor. Sparkfun is awsome!! anyway its a little better built. Better buttons and all the balancing ports are built into the side...

1. Try it but watch your temps. If they are too high then switch back.

I have a Xl-5 slash (same tranny) that I upgraded to the SCT combo and the motor was installed 2 minutes before the drive shaft broke so I would defiantly recommend the CVDs. Or if your on a budget...
