Be careful replacing all that stuff with aluminum, it will transfer all that energy somewhere else (AArms, etc). IMHO, you're better off to replace plastic and let those break before you start...

Did you pick up the Vorza (looks like it given your signature)? I just got the new 2.4 GHZ one and with my maxamps 18.5V LiPo, it is mental fast and plenty tough.

Agreed, Venom connectors have been problematic for me.  Once I snipped them and put Traxxas connectors on my kids' 1/16s they were fine.

So the lesson learned is: give the company a chance to fix...
