LST popping / backfiring, why!!

all the sudden my lst is popping out the carb when i accelerate. i checked the head and gasket, all good. im lost! IT WAS RUNNING PERFECT.

the answer is in the opening post, and why would anything bigger then a .21 tear up the tranny when it was made with a 2.5...

i can tune 2 needle carbs all day, that isnt the issue here, the issue is explained in the first post. forgetting the midrange needle exists isnt an option, its a necessity.

my LST has Z590M servos from JR racing, so far i got it wet once hitting a 2" deep puddle and it geeked. not to impressive when a kid next to me had a offbrand POS no name elec that he kept dunking...

no plastic to worry about, been doin this for 15 years never hurt anything! and i suggest a HARSHER grit sandpaper, your not trying to posish it your trying to scuff it up good. the tuny scratches...

is your copper seal there? if its sealed you should never see gas.

check your tank for good seals,

they flood VERY easy in the winter, try cleaning it all out and starting w/o priming....

we added a reverse kit, 4wd kit, and a 2 speed kit, and everytime we run it strips the tranny gears. even the local shop cannot figure it out. so were just going to ebay a new tranny.will a 3.3...

if you have a welder, put a small nut OVER the broken screw, do a tiny spot weld to connect the nut to the bolt, and then twist it...

thats what the rc shop said right off the bat and tried to sell me a new remote. the remote worked perfect until i cleared all settings so i dont think so.
