first flight today,. model weighs 4 Lbs ready to fly with 4s 4500 lipo. Grass field with limited room to take off. After a push it flew getting airborne after 3/4 of the strip . Flies as if on rails...

I have been told that the one I am interested in is 2.5kg fuselage and 3.2 kg wings. about 6kg ready to fly which is about 13.2 Lbs. Seems a bit heavy. Bill

I tried 2.4 in my dynamic sub and it was great till the sub hull became awash and the range dropped to 2 - 3 ft. Spektrum dx7.
Now use 40 mhz in the uk which works great. bill

I have had a go with it and was not impressed with the flight characteristics. The best/most realistic gyro is from http://www.flyingbalsa.com/kits/ for FMS, the free simulator.

Thanks that would be good. I have the option to buy one complete with Zenoah 26 but it has nearly full span ailerons .i would have preferred flaps.. Bill

Thanks to Al Clarke I have had a fit of gyro enthusiasm whilst it is raining..Remotored glow Huff and Puff to electric.
weighs 2 oz less than before ready to fly with 3s1500 kokam. Bill
