typically at least one set of the gears on a torque tube are plastic, they are considered to be a consumable. if the tail blades touch the ground the plastic gear will strip. something has to give...

ya, traxxas is the best, tell me somethin i don't know. another thing to keep in mind is the cost of spare parts. traxxas spare parts are inexpensive, unlike some other brands that rape your wallet...

no first hand experience, but from what i read it is definitely a keeper. it was actually released some tiime ago, its a sleeper hit, must of slipped under the radar.<br type="_moz"/>

i was just chatting over at the heli forums and the tarot 450 pro looks like a good heli (align clone) its got a torque tube and the kicker is its only 99...
