RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!

Ordered from them before. Good prices but shipping from overseas eats up the margin sometimes.

RE: GLOBELINER AND SCANIA THREAD

Thanks for posting the pics, looks cool. Too bad they didn't do that with the Globe Liner.

They'll fit any Tamiya semi and other cars with 12mm drives.

RE: Mini LST

I would stick with the plastic wheels. It's much easier to replace those than one of the diffs.

RE: Mini LST

I'm not sure what kind of run times you guys are getting with round cells but when I had a 5400kv Himaxx motor and 3S 2000mah pack I would get about a half hour and about an hour with a 2S 2000mah...

RE: Mini LST

With a 2 cell lipo you'll have both, longer run times and should be a little faster and quicker. The chemistry of the lipo packs allow it to have a flatter discharge rate than nicads and nimh's. A...

RE: Mini LST

Dynamite used to make a 2S 1900mah lipo pack that fit in the stock location. If you're not going with a high power setup then the TP 2S 1320mah pack is good, for my Wraith I used the TP 3S 2000mah...

RE: Mini LST

I think my last post here was on page 14 suggesting you get the Wraith. I haven't run my mlst in a long time but in it's day all I had was the plastic gears that were boiled and used some Nitro...

RE: stupid mistake

Is it a nimh/nicad or lipo pack? If it's either a nimh or nicad there's no problem, just charge it up.

RE: mamba max

If you're going brushless I would strongly suggest using FM, PCM, or 2.4. If someone is on the same channel and your car/truck takes off, it'll be gone fast and probably end up being one costly...

RE: GLOBELINER AND SCANIA THREAD

That's one of the best investments for any RC vehicle. One day I'll get to putting on the oil shocks and getting rid of all the squeaks.

Pat did a great job with his BJ and the bear replica. ...

RE: Project AEROMAX - LB's first 3-speed..

The Bruder (?sp) toys are a pretty close match in size and have been substituted for cabs as well.

RE: Tamiya Globe Liner BJ & the Bear "replica"

Great job Pat. My paint job was a quickie, yours looks much better and more accurate. I thought about doing the aerodyne, probable easiest to do it from a block of foam the glassing it. I'm not a...

RE: Lithium Polymer 101

I personally like the Thunder Power packs. Others that are just as good are Flight Power, Hyperion and Poly Quest. Read my first post, it explains everything.

RE: Lithium Polymer 101

I've had some packs that didn't fare too well from them but I don't know if they have better cells now or not. I don't want to find out. I like the TP packs, I know they are not perfect and have...

RE: Lithium Polymer 101

What will you be running the pack in? A 5000mah pack is usually a good bit larger than a standard nimh pack. The 3000mah cells should be about the same length as a nimh pack but may be a bit taller...

RE: Hangar 9 P-51D Mustang 150 Review/Conversion

You'll only have to worry about nosing over if you fly from a rough grass field or one that has clumps.
After you get the plane trimmed out, take it high and check the stall speed. It may...

RE: Hangar 9 P-51D Mustang 150 Review/Conversion

Isaac
Your plane should have a lot of power with the A60 in it but the oversized motor and extra cells may be the biggest downfall. The H9 .60 size planes fly great at 10lbs or less, 11 should be...

RE: Hangar 9 P-51D Mustang 150 Review/Conversion

The 1.50 P-47 conversion has already been done and successful. I'm surprised you even paid attention to that, we all know you'll find a way to make it work.
