Yup. Checked all the "weird" base settings, like shift, qpcm, mode 1/2, glid/acro/heli, power etc. all as usual. It's almost as if the tx can not access the memory location.

Neon and E7; teacher/student; on ch 22

Hi,

I love my Eclipse 7:). All my rx are on channel 22. I bought a Neon and a teacher/student cable to teach my son how to fly some of the planes. Is there a channel 22 crystal for the Neon?

Thanks for the hint. Checked it. Negative shift, as usual. Did a full "reset" on memory location 7. Still nothing. It's as if the tx is gone on that location. I can live with 6 locations. My worry is...

Ok, thanks for the hint. Tried that; EPA now for channel 3 at 125%. Motor does not move.

Are you sure it will work with a proportional ESC rather than an on/off switch?

I just tried it again and the elevator D?R switch does exactly that: switches dual rate on and off on the elevator but does nothing to the ESC on channel 3. how do you tell the eclipse to use that...

sorry but I am still drawing a blank.
Let me summarize:
1. the Eclipse 7 is in GLID mode
2. the ESC is connected to Rx channel 3
3. all components (ESC, Rx, Tx, etc work in ACRO mode...

Thanks Mike,

OK I tried that. The ESC works well when I am in ACRO mode and control it over Rx channel 5. I then go to GLID mode and try to control the same ESC over channel 3 by moving the GEAR...
