You can get Speed 400 "sized" brushless motors that when geared, such as a Hacker, that can put out a serious amount of power, especially when geared.

You should try 4-bladed VarioProps. If you are using a speed 400 6v, use the 5.2" long set to 3" pitch. If you are using the s400 7.2v. you can use the 5.8" props set to 3" pitch. They worked well...
