RE: Tail hold <span class=

You cannot use rudder trim.

You can adjust the CENTRE (sub-trim) function on your computer TX in order to eliminate tail-walking when in HH mode. Just adjust the Centre(subtrim) either to the...

High Speed - 3 turns from closed.

Mid - 3 turns out from fully closed throttle barrel.

Change to CoolPower fuel (the Green fuel - ie , 15% nitro content).

RE: Raptor 60 V2 me or the Heli???

Cliff , I am sorry to have to say this , but if you call it a "clutch drum liner" , you have to get up to speed on the heli - lingo first. If you're a complete newbie, say so.

What engine are...

RE: Servos for Raptor 50 V2

Actually , if you're just starting out , you won't notice any difference and you'll be better off just using the cheapo servos that come free with your radio.

RE: carbon fins change flight?

Works , that Auto R Pulley. But the flight characteristics do change slightly .... did you notice this Colin ?

The heli seems a tad less responsive. Maybe I am just getting old....

RE: carbon fins change flight?

Colin,

I have just put in the Auto R Pulley onto my Rap30V2 to try to cure the Wah Wah , as per your recommendation at SBR. Hope it works !

Great site by the way.

RE: carbon fins change flight?

I don't agree with you.

More importantly , I don't really care for this issue.

Enjoy (or not) your carbon fins and LOOK OUT for all them babes falling over themselves to get a look at...

RE: carbon fins change flight?

Carbon fins are lighter than stock plastic ones.

With all them holes , there is less air resistance , thus faster flights and faster piros.

They look nicer.

They are more hip.

You...

RE: Loops!

Raptor Norway.

Glad to hear that you're making so much progress with your heli.

Just a small note here , you're right that Ail/Thr and Elev/Thr mixing makes flying much smoother since you...

RE: Got some problems- Raptor 30 , clutch problem?

Stormovic , I agree that you can loop in normal mode as long as you have plenty of height.

But , my advise is that it would be better for all budding 3D learners to adapt to the Idle Up 1 switch...

RE: Got some problems- Raptor 30 , clutch problem?

If you did your loop in normal mode , that would be probably what caused your crash. You need headspeed and also powered negative pitch to loop properly , if not you'll lose ALOT of height when your...

RE: Raptor 30 V2 strips my servos

I have to learn to be as patient as Glenn or Galifrey. Its just that I get my knickers in a twist whenever I see someone knock a good product due to his own self-induced errors , and worse , when...

RE: Raptor 30 V2 strips my servos

I have some mild advice for Voodoo,

1. Don't fly/build/arf any more helis till you sort out your building skills,

2. Don't 'assist' and/or 'help' others in building/setup of their helis...

RE: Raptor 30 V2 strips my servos

More BS.

If you can induce your mixing levers on your washout to contact your swashplate you have some serious building problems.

Why don't you just read your manual again and rebuild your...

RE: Loops!

I agree with most of what was said above , you do really need your idle up to be set up so that your heli can hover inverted if need be.

I have mine set a +10 / -7 for Idle Up no. 1.

Thats...

RE: Raptor 30 V2 strips my servos

It is not an oversight on TTR's part.

Its an oversight on your part.

I have never ever seen a servo strip in flight. The only reason that it would do so is if your have a bind somewhere....
