I have picked up a os 1.40 rx .
Installed it in a utrasport 1000 with a macs header and a macs quite pipe .
I have never had a tuned pipe looking for help in the set up
this will be for sport...

Full up elevator at hight speed on high rate would cause a high speed stall . The crash could have broken the supports for the nirods allowing it to flex inside the fuze of the plane

Crash Recovery (a couple of soggy days later)

You can take the covering off the wing remove the leading edge with a knife be carfule not to cut or damage the ribs . put on new leading edge cover and off you go . Had to do this to my hog .

put some .5 glass cloth in the middle of the bottom and top wing about 1/3 out from center wings will not fold again its a little heaver but flies fine.

Mindwarp you mentioned that the hinges were alittle loose in the slots you made . The hinges should be snug I would upgrade to pinned hinges. If the slots are all ready cut.

Glowplug advice

I can run my fox 40 at -15 c with out any problems ,just a little hard to start and have to keep glow on it for a while . You did not say what engine you have some just do not like the cold .
