building help

I am thinking of building a 1/10th scale hydro and have a few questions hoping someone might answer. Got the 1/10th Pay n Pak plan by Gary Finlay and wondering if anybody has an opinion of his plans?...

If I measured right I have about 10.75".  Do I understand correctly?  I measured from the glow plug to the widest part of the pipe, and that's after I cut off 3/8" of the pipe.  I'm not going to get...

I have bought a tuned pipe for a .21 os max.. I have cut and rewelded the manifold so the exhaust goes out the cowling on my Pay n Pak hydro, so now I cannot change the length of it. need to shorten...

HJ, I got a X642 prop the other day. balancing and polishing now. That ought to be a little differant than the X442 I have been running.

HJ, I put the rudder and skid fin both on the right. The Plans are long gone. Is this what the plans say, I forget. I only see boats with the rudder on the left now.

Well I have the OS Max .21 RGMX engine. maybe i should stick with what i got, it runs real stable. Only hits the water on the back part of the sponsons and half the prop. When it is coming right at...

HJ, have you decided on what prop you will try? I have one of these and painted it this winter and now am wondering if I should try something other than an X442 Octura.
