I understand completely that some people think that scratched up is the way that it is supposed to look, but I want my cake and i want to eat it too, I just grew up that way, i like my things to look...

o.k., you do say that some run plastic rings instead of metal though ?? I know it will get scratched to but at least the color would stay the same.

what do you mean when you say power off from the esc ? my servo wires are ran directly from the servo to the reciever, are some rc's hooked into the esc instead of the reciever ?
