RE: Twin detonator crawler completed! pics

I'm not sure what else you've done to it but the biggest improvement you can do if you haven't already is lock the front and rear differentials. I read somewhere about being able to gear down the...

RE: anybody crawling with IFS??

I made my Tamiya Wild Dagger into a rock crawler and it does pretty good for independant suspension with easy modifications. I locked both the front and rear, made my own shock tower mounts which...

RE: twist 3d for a fun fly/ what engine?

Well I've got the plane all together and it's definetly tail heavy with the webra 50 but the good news is its still light. I have the battery underneath the fuel tank as far forward as possible and...

RE: twist 3d for a fun fly/ what engine?

Well I finally decided to go for a Webra speed 50 instead. It's a little cheaper than the 61 and is lighter and should put out enough power. Does anyone have any suggestions on what prop I should...

RE: twist 3d for a fun fly/ what engine?

I know cause a 91 is just a bored out 61, bigger hole = less material less weight, however I certainly don't need that!

Those who have the twist with engines bigger than 40 size, were you able...

RE: twist 3d for a fun fly/ what engine?

I forgot to ask about engien mounting. I noticed that the firewall already has preinstalled blind nuts, will a 61 size engine fitt with the motor mount with that configuration? Also one other...

RE: twist 3d for a fun fly/ what engine?

Hey thanks for all comments,
I'll most likely go for the OS 61FX and just over power it. It sounds like from what most people have said that with a 40-50 size engine it will still be tail heavy so...

RE: dead sticks on down line

RE: dead sticks on down line

Thats what I'd think, but then I read in another thread that some people seem to think that you do not want the klunk to drop to the front as it will usually get stuck and they use some brass tubing...

dead sticks on down line

Flying a modeltech magic fun fly plane with an OS 52 four stroke and when on a down line it very often dies no matter if it has a full tank half or low fuel. What could be causing this and what...
