Very true, the gear could be ripped out of an f-18 fighter if one landed harder than the design factors of the gear. The 90in span revolver is all wood with aluminum gear. No way one could build it...

Using aluminum bolts could have something to do with heat expansion. All aluminum in an assembly would expand at the same rate and reduce distortion in the cylinder.

It's 2.3 liters hence the 230 designation in the old ones,the new one is 1.8l.I think they would be close but merc would win.
