Please note, the drawing as suppled by Phoenix is incorrect - the caban should be upside down i.e. top is 84mm and bottom is 74mm so this makes top wider than...

Just seen your post. . I'll try and post the drawing of the caban for you if that's any help.

As to struts, you don't really need to glass them. I've made them from hard straight grain...

Looking at this thread - I know it's a bit old. I'm thinking of building a bi-plane. Debating between Tiger Moth or Gypsy Moth.
Gypsy moth seems easier to built and transporting may be easy.
