Have you checked your gear mesh?? It may be to tight . Also you may want to check all the bearings.

Sounds like a deal. You can't go wrong with with a slash 4x4 especially an ultimate. My slash 4x4 is just the basic only a few upgrades and out been running strong for about 2 years.

I'm using a duratrax onxy 2s 8000mah 25c with my slash 4x4 and I get about 4560 minute runtime. Ive had good luck with it but I may try a genace next time though if its cheaper.

Nice review. The slash 4x4 is a very fun truck. I just use mine for bashing crawling and climbing. I've got mine sitting as high as it will go and replaced the stock tires with Proline 2.8...
