I have seen this happen when one servo is defective and either shorted out or drawing too much power. I would suggest trying the same setup and alternate with a different servo.

hock wouldn't work with gloves. Although, the vibration mode that the unit comes with is noticeable enough if people really need to be notified about anything.

it beeps when you turn it on to tell you it is on. Some engineer probably thought it was a cool thing to do. And it also beeps when you do various program changes, etc.
